We simply ask that you minimize the use of profanity in your article(s), video(s) or guest commentary submission(s). We also ask to refrain from personal attack on anyone covered in your submission(s). Please be respectful to your readers/ viewers by presenting your topic and not the mainstream bully pulpits identifying as reporters, not journalist. Journalism is simply presenting the facts and letting your reader/ viewer make up their own mind, but remember to add your style and flair in your submission! This makes all of the difference in News from the People, for the People!

If you have a video(s) that you would like to submit for publishing. We are only accepting video(s) you have created or have written permission to share. IMPORTANT If you are sharing a video, please provide a written "consent to use" document from the content creator, unless the video is for reference for an article(s) or guest commentary.  

Please include with or in your submission(s) the source information you used to compile your article(s), video(s) or guest commentary. Please make Written submissions in a Word Doc or PDF format with all graphics placed through submission (we will attempt to replicate your piece as best as possible). Video submissions, we ask to be in a mp4 format. Also, with your video, you can also submit an embedded video link for video extraction from YouTube, Vidmeo,, or just attach video file (file size limitations based on individual email service providers) to your email to UNC. 

For ALL submission(s), we require a consent/ release form to be filled out (find in the following section) before your submission(s) will be published. UNC may contact you regarding your submission(s) or question(s). Please BE ADVISED UNC is 100% operated/ funded by a few volunteers at this time., We will endeavor to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible.
